Share your experience from Sunday…

So just thought Id start this thread here for folks to reply and share thoughts or experiences or feedback from Sunday’s gathering. Here’s a few questions to spur some thinking on this:

  • What was your favorite part of the gathering?
  • What was your least favorite part of the gathering?
  • Any thoughts about what to do different if and when we gather next time?
  • Did you get or give ministry during the gathering — in other words, did you see God moving in any special way from your vantage point during the gathering? Tell us about it…

Thanks ahead of time for your feedback and participation! Other than jitters around having to MC the thing, I had a blast! Thanks for supporting the house churches all around us!

    Hi,
Thanks for organizing the gathering. We came up from Colorado Springs and really enjoyed meeting several others. I wish there had been time to get to know everyone! We just moved from MN. We have been involved in starting 3 simple churches, but until now we knew almost no one else simple churching in CO , so it is so nice to meet you all.

We best liked the sample meeting, and the time to hang out before and after. I think large groups like this can be a celebration of what is happening in the churches. Large groups can’t do intimacy too well, so we can’t make it into something it is not. But I think occasionally these can be edifying and help us to unify and stick together and build up each other as churches. Hearing stories/testimonies of lives being changed in other churches at these events is really important; otherwise we might nit get a chance to hear. Thanks so much.

I loved being outdoors. I had doubts about the sample meeting, but it proved to be the highlight of the afternoon. Too bad it got cold…I was hoping more people would hang out for more getting to know each other time. I took lots of photos and will post here asap.

We found a fold up camp chair…if anyone is missing one, please email me!
