The site is back up

The site is back up!

Last week a malicious script got into our database, and my website host was no help (”we have escalated this help ticket”), even after a half dozen emails and phone calls. And of course, as I administer this site in my free time, it was in the middle of two of my busiest weeks.

My apologies for any inconvenience caused by the down time. Some notes

• We are on a brand new host, with a fresh install of wordpress
• You may need to create a new account to comment on the site or subscribe. Or you might be able to hit “forgot password and it will email you a new password.
• If you know anyone who stopped coming to the site because of the damage by the hacker, let them know the site is back up

I must admit it felt like an attack on several levels, and was very frustrating. It is a reminder to me that this world is “not as it should be!”
