We like to call this “Starfish Training.” See, if you tear off an arm of starfish that contains part of the central ring it becomes another starfish. We want to see every member of the body fully connected to Jesus so if He takes them elsewhere, they regenerate His body wherever they go.

My simple church mentor, Neil Cole, used to say that what slows down organic church multiplication is buildings, budgets, and bigshots. However, for those seeking training in theology, leadership, and spiritual formation, the only option has been formal education often costing in the tens of thousands. I recognize there is value in such an education, and myself was financially able to take advantage of such an opportunity. However, as we see the gospel spreading throughout Colorado, putting a hefty price tag on such training seems cumbersome…and not entirely Biblical.

God is raising up church planters, teachers, spiritual parents, and other mentors to use their gifts to grow the body. This page is devoted to making you aware of those opportunities, and we welcome your interaction. Does your church have a social worker who can teach resume skills to the jobless? Do you have a gifted artist who can help us worship through the arts? Do you have a Spanish speaker who can reach out to Spanish speaking communities? Do you have a gifted teacher who can instruct other aspiring teachers on how to draw out truths from Scripture and apply them to our lives?

Training Opportunities

• School on the Way - Empowering Passionate Disciples
  We believe there is a need for a new way (that is really an old way) of training. To that end our classes gather in a household community as seen in the New Testament house church. While still offering a high level of scholarship, our teaching is a Hebrew style of dialogue and interaction with an emphasis on listening to and obeying what the Spirit is saying.
